Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Plan daily production of meals to meet customer needs and optimize sales opportunities.
\nEnsure that the branch offers adequate product range of Asian cuisine and related dishes.
\nDevelop and review product recipes for the product ranges on offer as and when necessary.
\nLiaise with buying personnel to ensure that the required ingredients are always in stock.
\nImplement shrinkage control measures\/procedures to minimize wastages and stock losses.
\nMonitor the quality of customer service on an ongoing basis and take corrective actions.
\nEnsure that the deli section maintains the required housekeeping and hygiene standards.
\nSupervise a team of subordinates to ensure optimal productivity and acceptable conduct.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in hotel management, culinary arts, food handling and preparation, or any related field of study. Suited professional certifications in culinary arts, kitchen management, food hygiene and safety will equally be considered.
\nFour (4) years\u2019 work experience as an Executive Chef particularly preparing Asian cuisine and continental dishes. The work experience should consist of having worked in supervisory or middle management positions.
\nAbility to supervise subordinates to ensure productivity, adherence to production schedules, and good quality customer service.
\nStrong coordination skills that are required to liaise with different stakeholders and execute routine operational activities timeously.
\nAble to discern market trends and develop corresponding solutions to build a competitive advantage.
\nCommitted to high standards of hygiene and housekeeping, food safety, and efficient use of kitchen utensils and ingredients.
\nA valid Class B driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
