Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Organize and use storage space in the most efficient manner to facilitate easy access to stock and reduce stock losses and damages.
\nManage stock rotation in line with standard operating procedures.
\nMaintain a clean and hygienic stores area and ensure there is no cross contamination of stock items. Implement appropriate pest control measures to keep stock safe.
\nMake sure that all stored items are properly labeled and stored in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
\nReceive and inspect stock deliveries. Verify the quantities and quality of the items received. Make sure items delivered match purchase orders or other order documentation.
\nMaintain accurate records of all stock items, recording all stock received, written off and issued.
\nMaintain security of all stores stock and ensure requisitions \/ job cards are completed in line with company procedures.
\nImplement and maintain the inventory system according to company policy and procedures. This includes organizing and categorizing inventory.
\nConduct regular stock counts, in line with company policies and procedures.
\nReconcile stock levels, variances and discrepancies.
\nCollaborate with lodge \/ camp departments to determine stock requirements.
\nProvide the Camp \/ Lodge Administrator with inventory order requirements.
\nProvide the Camp \/ Lodge Administrator with reports and feedback on inventory levels, consumption rates, patterns and other relevant information.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Senior Secondary School Certificate (BGCSE).
\nCertificate in Inventory Management or equivalent.
\nGood knowledge of inventory management processes and systems.
\nAt least one (1) year\u2019s previous experience in a similar role.
\nGood organization and planning skills.
\nGood communication skills (verbal and written).
\nGood working knowledge of the Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel).
\nAttention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
\nHonesty and sober habits.<\/p>\n
