Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Provide strategic leadership and overall direction to the Company in line with its vision, mission, and long-term objectives.
\nDevelop and implement business strategies, growth initiatives, and operational plans to enhance profitability and market presence.
\nOversee underwriting, claims, finance, risk management, compliance, operations, and business development functions.
\nEnsure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including those prescribed by Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) and international best practices.
\nDrive innovation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency across the organisation.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, regulators, shareholders, reinsurers, and other key stakeholders.
\nLead, mentor, and inspire the executive management team to achieve operational excellence and a high-performance culture.
\nIdentify and pursue regional and international business opportunities to strengthen the Company\u2019s competitive position.
\nRepresent the Company at industry forums, conferences, and public engagements.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
A minimum of a Master\u2019s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
\nProfessional qualifications such as AIISA, ACII, CFA, CPA, FIA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
\nAt least 15 years of progressive experience in the insurance, reinsurance, or financial services sector, with a minimum of 7 years at senior executive or leadership level.
\nStrong understanding of reinsurance operations, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
\nDemonstrated track record in strategic leadership, business growth, stakeholder engagement, and financial performance management.
\nExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
\nVisionary and transformational leadership capabilities.
\nHigh integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
\nStrong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
\nStrategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
