Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Teach undergraduate physics courses through online learning platforms.
\nPrepare and deliver virtual lectures, tutorials, and learning materials.
\nDevelop course outlines, lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
\nFacilitate online discussions and encourage student participation.
\nAssess and grade student work in a timely and constructive manner.
\nProvide academic advising and support to students.
\nMaintain accurate student attendance, grades, and academic records.
\nUse Blackboard \u2013 Learning Management Systems (LMS) effectively.
\nIncorporate virtual laboratories, simulations, and digital learning tools where appropriate.
\nEnsure compliance with institutional academic policies and quality standards.
\nParticipate in departmental meetings, curriculum review, and faculty development activities when required.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Master\u2019s degree in Physics or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
\nPrevious teaching experience at tertiary or university level.
\nStrong knowledge of core physics subjects
\nExperience with online teaching technologies and virtual learning environments.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nAbility to work independently and manage online classes effectively.
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
\nStrategic thinking and ability to contribute to institutional development initiatives.
\nFamiliarity with digital tools for teaching, learning, and research.
\nCompetence in use of technology
\nAbility to inspire and motivate students
\nStrong communication and presentation skills with a good command of English
\nGood organizational skills
\nAbility to coordinate and mentor student projects and internships, including liaison with industry
\nMaintain student records and manage day-to-day teaching administration
