Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage and improve the College\u2019s ICT infrastructure, systems, and technical environment.
\nSupport and maintain physical and virtual servers, network services, backups, and recovery systems.
\nProvide level 1 and level 2 technical support to end users and assist in improving helpdesk services.
\nManage and support Active Directory, user accounts, access rights, and related security controls.
\nMonitor, test, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN, WAN, and remote access systems.
\nSupport and maintain end-user devices, software installations, upgrades, and routine configurations.
\nManage cloud infrastructure and services, including platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and DigitalOcean.
\nMaintain ICT hardware, software, licenses, warranties, support contracts, and consumables.
\nOversee ICT asset records, technical documentation, reports, and user advisory guidelines.
\nSupport ICT-related procurement, installations, vendor engagements, and contractor coordination.
\nConduct end-user training, workshops, and staff guidance on ICT tools and solutions.
\nCollaborate with teams on software deployment, development environments, and digital transformation initiatives.
\nUndertake any other duties consistent with the nature and level of the post as assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of systems administration, network infrastructure, and ICT support services.
\nGood understanding of servers, virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms.
\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and task prioritisation skills.
\nGood communication, customer support, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
\nGood documentation, planning, organisational, and reporting skills.
\nAbility to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to new technologies.
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field.
\nRelevant professional certifications in areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Fortinet, Sophos, AWS, Azure, or related fields will be an added advantage.
\nAt least 2 years\u2019 relevant experience in ICT infrastructure, systems administration, network administration, technical support, or a related field.
\nExperience supporting servers, networks, end-user devices, ICT operations, and cloud services.
\nExperience in an educational institution will be an added advantage.
\nMust possess relevant academic qualifications from a recognised institution.
\nProfessional ICT certifications will be an added advantage.
\nMust be able to work across different sites and travel where required in fulfilment of the role.<\/p>\n
