About the Role
Lydetco PLC is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Sales Representatives to support the aggressive expansion of our Solar Home Systems (SHS) and other solar product lines across Ethiopia. This role is critical in driving revenue growth through active selling, customer engagement, and market expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Drive sales of Solar Home Systems (SHS) and other solar products to meet and exceed assigned targets
Conduct daily outbound sales calls, client visits, and follow-ups
Identify and engage potential customers, agents, and institutional clients
Support agent onboarding and relationship management
Participate in sales events, activations, and field campaigns
Maintain accurate customer records and sales tracking by using CRM tools or software
Provide regular market feedback, including competitor activity and customer insights
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth delivery

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement
Daily/weekly sales activity levels (calls, visits, follow-ups)
Lead generation and conversion rate
Customer acquisition and retention
CRM/data reporting compliance

About You

Qualifications & Requirements

BA Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
Minimum 3+ years proven sales experience (preferably in solar, energy, FMCG, or related sectors)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Results-oriented with a strong execution mindset
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive targets
Proficiency in Amharic and English (written and spoken). Candidates with additional local language capability are preferred.

Additional Advantage

Certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Relationship Management
Experience in field sales, agent-based distribution, or B2B sales
