\nWhat was started as a simple trading business entity in 2005, Horra Trading has made it possible to create diversified businesses under Horra Corporate Group. Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, propylene technology manufacturing, technology, real estate development and transit and forwarding. Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 550 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.

We are currently looking for a talent which will work in the Corporate office contributing in Insurance related issues of the overall Corporate.
\nPosition Summary
\nThe incumbent\u2019s responsibilities are to secure information on the insurance policies to verify the accuracy and completeness of information on claims, applications and related documents and analyses such information to produce reports that feed into decision making process on all insurance cases.
\nDuties and responsibilities:
\nUnder the supervision of the line manager, the Insurance Officer will:<\/p>\n
Supervise all insurance policies and claims in-line with insurance policies.
\nReviewing and providing guidance on current policies
\nResponsible for identifying the necessity of which types of insurance package for HCG
\nBeing the first contact person for any insurance related activities
\nManaging entering, reviewing, renewal and payments settlements of all types of insurance with consultation with concerned business unites
\nManaging any types of insurance accidents end to end process
\nHandle claims linked to all types of insurance coverage
\nMonitor the performance of Complimentary Health\/Illness Insurance Cover and report any cases of abuse.
\nUpdate and reviewing existing policies
\nCommunicate with Insurance brokers\/or Insurance claim department to obtain information necessary for processing claims.
\nIn consultation with the Finance department, \/Line manger ensure timely settlement of premiums and renewal of insurance
\nPrepare monthly reports for the attention of the line manager
\nPerform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Education Qualification: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Management, Law, Accounting and Finance or related fields from a renowned institution.
\nWork Experience: At least 2(two) to 8 (four) years of demonstrated work experience in the insurance sector
\nWell experienced in managing different insurance policies such as marine, life and health, vehicle and alike
\nHaving private sector experience will be an added advantage.
\nAbility to maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on insurance claims.
\nAbility to work under pressure of deadlines.
\nAbility to work sensitively in a multicultural environment and build effective working relations with clients and colleagues.
\nAbility to identify and understands relationships, constraints and pressures affecting others.
\nProficiency in Office 365 is required.
\nAble to perform other administrative tasks when required.
\nShow effective negotiating and interpersonal skills.
\nShow problem solving and analytical skills.
\nBe innovative and creative.
\nAbility to identify and resolve problems.
\nDemonstrable understanding and application of insurance principles and processes.
