The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the coffee industry, development strategies, and stakeholder engagement.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n1 Business Growth, Revenue Generation &amp; Partnerships<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement strategic plans to increase membership, partnerships, andrevenue streams.<br \/>\nIdentify and secure sponsorships, grants, and funding opportunities.<br \/>\nCreate new income sources through new business offerings and support services like<br \/>\nconsultancy services, training programs, data collection and certification offerings.<br \/>\nEstablish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government<br \/>\nagencies, international coffee organizations, and private sector players.<br \/>\nCollaborate with development agencies and organizations to secure funding and technical support for coffee farmers.<br \/>\nDrive negotiations and agreements with coffee buyers, exporters, and financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>2. Strategic Planning, Reporting &amp; Impact Assessment<\/p>\n<p>Analyze industry trends and provide insights to guide association initiatives.<br \/>\nPrepare reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.<br \/>\nMonitor and evaluate the impact of business development efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Key Deliverables<\/p>\n<p>Annual Business Development Strategy outlining revenue growth, partnerships, and capacity-building plans.<br \/>\nMonthly Progress Reports tracking revenue streams, partnerships, and industry engagements.<br \/>\nMembership Growth &amp; Retention Plan with clear targets and engagement strategies.<br \/>\nStrategic Partnerships Portfolio detailing new collaborations and ongoing relationships.<\/p>\n<p>About You<\/p>\n<p>Expectations<\/p>\n<p>Develop and execute innovative business strategies aligned with the coffee association\u2019s mission.<br \/>\nStrengthen stakeholder relationships and negotiate beneficial agreements.<br \/>\nDeliver measurable revenue growth and increased membership engagement.<br \/>\nMaintain high levels of professionalism, adaptability, and industry knowledge.<br \/>\nProvide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on market research. Education and skills:<br \/>\nEssential: Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Marketing,<br \/>\nEconomics, Agriculture Economics, or a related field.<br \/>\nCommunication and Presentation Skills<br \/>\nLanguage; Amharic and English proficiency<\/p>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Essential: 5+ years of proven experience in business development, partnerships,<br \/>\nfundraising, or a related role.
