The Import controller is responsible for follow up and monitoring of all import related tasks in order to ensure timely delivery of items and services.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
ommunicate to supplier and confirm shipment schedule of orders
\nFollow up and monitoring of shipment readiness
\nProperly book shipments and monitor arrival at the appropriate port of destination
\nAppropriately book shipments to avoid delays
\nEnsure clearance documents are transferred to the bank timely with the appropriate route
\nCollect the shipping documents timely and deliver to the transistor timely
\nCollect Ensure timely shipment, transportation and clearance of orders at the port to reduce warehouse charges, avoid penalties, and currency fluctuation impact costs
\nEstablish shipment tracking system and monitor accordingly
\nCreate good relation with bank, custom, clearance and shipping staffs
\nFile the import transaction documentations until it is cleared from National bank of Ethiopia and custom post audit
\nReconcile orders against shipping invoices
\nEnsure the delivery of the items to the appropriate warehouse
\nEnsure the shipment is inspected before receiving and the goods are delivered as per the order
\nCommunicate suppliers if discrepancies occur and get refund or replacement
\nEnsure punctuality
\nPerforms other similar tasks as assigned by the immediate<\/p>\n

Education<\/p>\n
Academic requirement: MA\/MSC\/BA\/BSC in Supply Chain Management\/ Logistics\/Procurement \/ Management or related fields of study<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
Work experience: 2\/4yrs of relevant experience in beverage industries<\/p>\n
