Our teams of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, work tirelessly to provide essential medical services, emergency relief, and long-term healthcare programs.MDM\u2013France invites qualified candidates to apply for the following position :<br \/>\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nThe Medical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and supporting the effective implementation of MdM\u2019s Health, Nutrition, MHPSS, and GBV interventions in designated health facilities. This includes overseeing clinical service delivery, mentoring health workers, ensuring compliance with protocols, supporting data management, and contributing to the strengthening of community health systems.<br \/>\nEssential duties and responsibilities.<br \/>\nSupervision:<\/p>\n<p>Lead the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of health activities across project-supported facilities.<br \/>\nConduct regular field visits to ensure the quality of clinical service delivery and adherence to protocols.<br \/>\nIdentify challenges in health service delivery and implement corrective actions.<br \/>\nSupervise and mentor healthcare providers in applying clinical and infection prevention protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Technical Support and Capacity Building:<\/p>\n<p>Provide technical support to health facility staff including Health, nutrition, MHPSS and GBV case workers and psychologists.<br \/>\nProvide on-the-job coaching and structured training for health facility staff on medical practice, mental health, GBV case management and hygiene protocols.<br \/>\nDevelop training materials and mentor staff to improve clinical competency and service delivery.<br \/>\nPromote a culture of continuous learning and feedback among health teams.<br \/>\nAssess training needs and organize thematic capacity-building sessions.<br \/>\nSupport the development and revision of training tools and medical guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Community Engagement:<\/p>\n<p>Support community mobilizers in designing and implementation of community based activities<br \/>\nSupport community mobilizers in Collaboration with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders to raise awareness of GBV and mental health issues, promoting a supportive environment for survivors.<br \/>\nWork with local authorities to strengthen referral pathways and support systems for individuals affected by GBV and Mental illness.<\/p>\n<p>Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:<\/p>\n<p>Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of medical and pharmaceutical data.<br \/>\nPrepare and timely submission of comprehensive reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges for submission to the program manager.(Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly etc..)<br \/>\nUse monitoring tools to evaluate the performance and outcomes of health activities.<br \/>\nActively participate in coordination meetings and internal medical reviews and provide timely updates on program progress and needs.<br \/>\nEstablish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including service providers and partners.<\/p>\n<p>Team management and Coordination:<\/p>\n<p>Supervise a team of program officers and\/or health staff.<br \/>\nConduct performance evaluations, support professional development, and foster team motivation.<br \/>\nManage work schedules, assign duties, and facilitate regular team meetings.<br \/>\nFacilitate collaboration with other humanitarian actors, including UN agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to enhance service delivery and response to GBV and mental health issues.<br \/>\nEnsure effective communication and coordination among team members to optimize resource use and service provision.<br \/>\nRepresent MdM in relevant coordination meetings, contributing to strategic discussions and planning efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Logistics and Drug Supply Management<\/p>\n<p>Monitor drug consumption and ensure adherence to supply protocols.<br \/>\nSupport in the quantification and management of medical stocks in coordination with logistics.<br \/>\nInform the medical manager of irregular consumption patterns or stock issues.<\/p>\n<p>Administrative Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with MdM policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all program activities.<br \/>\nCollaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies for program implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Fraud Prevention and Compliance<\/p>\n<p>Identify potential risks and enforce measures to prevent fraud and corruption.<br \/>\nPromote awareness among team members and respond to incidents as per protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency Response and Flexibility<\/p>\n<p>Be available to respond to emergencies and support unforeseen health interventions.<br \/>\nAdapt to changing project contexts and requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Conditions of the job<\/p>\n<p>Based in Raya Kobo Woreda, with frequent travel to field sites.<br \/>\nMay require irregular hours or weekend work in emergency contexts.<br \/>\nSubject to the terms of national staff employment policies.<\/p>\n<p>Employment Term: 8-month contract<br \/>\nReported to: Health Program Manager<br \/>\nRequired positions: 1 (One)<br \/>\nThe selected candidate will start: April 28, 2025<br \/>\nDeadline to apply: May 7, 2025<\/p>\n<p>About You<\/p>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\nEducation &amp;
