Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations.
\nEnsuring the highest safety compliance standards and a healthy work setting for staff, visitors and vendors.
\nMonitoring and staying updated on safety regulations, codes and standards applicable to the industry.
\nSupporting emergency preparedness and response efforts, including developing evacuation plans and procedures.
\nInvestigating accidents, incidents and near-miss events to determine root causes and implementing corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.
\nCollaborating with cross-functional departments\/teams to promote safety initiatives and ensure the integration of safety practices into daily operations.
\nEstablishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organizations, such as government bodies, safety organizations and insurance companies.
\nDevelop, implement and maintain strategies, plans and procedures to protect employees, property and facilities from workplace health and safety hazards.
\nAssess workplace hazards and risks and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.
\nConduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and ensure compliance with established safety protocols.
\nInvestigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
\nProvide regular safety training sessions and organize impactful safety campaigns to promote awareness.
\nMaintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.
\nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety strategies, plans and procedures, and adjust as needed.
\nProvide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related matters.
\nStay updated about emerging safety trends, regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
\nPrepare a proposal recommendation to upper management about new emerging safety trends, regulations and best practices that the company can implement to improve overall safety performance.
\nOrganize company-wide meetings to discuss general healthcare tips and recommendations by evaluating company employee\u2019s health related to their work environment.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in safety, Environment, health and safety (EHS), Occupation health and safety
\nPreferable with safety role experience (also includes zero experience)
\nPreferable with Relevant certifications
\nProficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.
\nWell-versed in creating emergency response plans tailored to various scenarios.
\nFamiliar with compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
\nIn-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards and best practices.
\nExpertise in using and inspection of safety equipment like fire extinguishers, eye protection and hazardous material protection.
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential risks.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
