Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
\nPrepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
\nMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
\nMaintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
\nSummarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents.
\nManages the payroll process.
\nAvoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
\nSecures financial information by completing database backups.
\nProtects organization\u2019s value by keepin<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualification:<\/p>\n
A bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
\nMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in accounting and at least 2 years\u2019 experience in the hospitality industry.
\nMust possess a thorough knowledge of the Hospitality industry, have a strong financial background.
\nMust be self-motivated, team builder and creative.
\nMust have excellent communication skills.
\nMust have computer excellent skills with MS Office (excel, word, outlook).
\nMust have critical thinking attributes by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
\nMust be able to work with multiple hotels financials.
\nMust have some knowledge of account payable, reconciling, reporting and or accounting software experience.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and procedures.
\nVerbal and written English communication skills.
\nComputer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.
\nTime management skills.
