\nJob Summary:
\nThe Senior Electrician is responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of complex electrical systems. This role includes supervising junior electricians, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating with management to optimize electrical operations and system efficiency.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment.<\/p>\n
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
\nPerform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of electrical systems.
\nLead the installation of electrical equipment, lighting, power distribution, and control panels.
\nUpgrade electrical systems to meet code requirements and increase energy efficiency.
\nAdhere to electrical codes, standards, and regulations
\nConduct regular safety audits and ensure all team members follow safety procedures.
\nIdentify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
\nSupervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
\nAllocate tasks and provide guidance to ensure quality workmanship.
\nConduct training sessions on safety protocols and new technologies.
\nMaintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and inspections.
\nReport maintenance activities and electrical faults to management.
\nAssist in developing maintenance schedules and improvement plans.
\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
\nStay updated on the latest electrical technologies and best practices.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Education: BSc in electricity or Electronics or Diploma Vocational or technical school training in Electrical Technology
\nExperience: Minimum of 4\/6 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. for Diploma 10 years
\nSkills:<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, maintenance, and repair.
\nProficient in reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\nAbility to work independently and lead a team effectively.
