\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
\nGather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, including clients, users, and internal teams.
\nCreate and maintain a product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business value and customer feedback.
\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products.
\nAct as the primary point of contact for product-related queries and decisions.
\nConduct user research and market analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
\nFacilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement in product development.
\nMonitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and satisfaction.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
\nProven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
\nStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
\nAnalytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
\nFamiliarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and software development life cycle.<\/p>\n
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management or related roles within the ICT sector.
\nSkills:<\/p>\n
Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
\nStrong analytical skills for market research and product performance evaluation.
\nExceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<\/p>\n
Desirable Attributes:<\/p>\n
Certifications: Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) or equivalent.
\nTechnical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development practices and technologies.
\nCultural Awareness: Understanding of the Ethiopian market and local business practices.<\/p>\n
