{"id":1379,"date":"2025-06-20T08:02:06","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T08:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/ethiopia\/job\/area-sales-manager-jijiga-at-repi-soap-detergent-plc\/"},"modified":"2025-09-25T00:36:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T00:36:09","slug":"area-sales-manager-jijiga-at-repi-soap-detergent-plc","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/ethiopia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1379","title":{"rendered":"Area Sales Manager -Jijiga at Repi Soap &amp; Detergent PLC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities: <\/p>\n<p>Follow up &amp; manage mainly secondary sales (sales from distributor to the general trade)<br \/>\nClearly Communicate the sales performance report to sales team and distributors<br \/>\nSupporting the distributor on sell out on the daily basis &amp; follow up on time delivery of the primary orders<br \/>\nClosely working with sales coordinator<br \/>\nAchieves the Areas\u2019s revenue and SKU target for all products by every distributor<br \/>\nConduct weekly and month sales performance review with the distributor and the sales staff<br \/>\nManages a team of distributor sales representative (DSR) to optimize the performance in their assigned territory.<br \/>\nWorks closely with the Retail Distributor help them &amp; manage: stock &amp; order management, demand forecasting, credit management, profitability, sales team KPIs.<br \/>\nDevelops productive relationships with key retailers and wholesalers in the area to support the distributor\u2019s business<br \/>\nManage the key account customers found under every distributor<br \/>\nHelp build RTM database based on market nature &amp; support the distributor sales team with account development and maintenance<br \/>\nFollow up secondary sales reports and make necessary adjustment and actions (Call Rate, Success rate and strike rate)<br \/>\nAnalyze other KPI reports and take proper support and action<br \/>\nProvide competitor activity related inputs to the RSM &amp; Trade marketing<br \/>\nBased on the market audit and analysis make sure the distributor to carry all stocks and fill gap accordingly<br \/>\nConduct competitor related analysis with the help of marketing department<br \/>\nAnalyze monthly P&amp;L review for all distributors and provide action plan for improvements<br \/>\nPrepare monthly collection plan as per the assigned target<br \/>\nResponsible for preparing weekly market visit plan and report for the RSM<br \/>\nPlan activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis<br \/>\nMonitors competitor activity in the territory and report back any key findings<br \/>\nEvaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.<br \/>\n10% working hours invested on office\/ paper work (Report, data. etc)<br \/>\nConduct weekly and monthly meeting with DSR &amp; Distributor Staff<br \/>\nManaging e-mails and other communication mediums (telegram)<br \/>\nMake sure all the resources are fulfilled by the distributor as per the standard<br \/>\nProvide downtime and undelivered orders on daily and weekly basis<br \/>\nResponsible usage of company resource.
