We are pleased to introduce you to Chora Gas Chemical Products Factory (CGCPF), one of Ethiopia\u2019s pioneering industrial manufacturers. Our company was originally established in 1938 E.C. in Addis Ababa under the name SEDE, founded by four foreign nationals and one Ethiopian citizen with an initial capital of just 1,500 birr. From its early years, the factory focused on producing Oxygen and Acetylene gases, Sedex Bleach, and wax products.
\nIn 1976 E.C., CGCPF became a government-owned enterprise under the National Chemical Corporation, where our role was focused on production and inventory, while procurement and sales were managed centrally. With the dissolution of the corporation in 1985 E.C., we gained full operational autonomy under the Public Enterprise Service Authority (PESA).
\nIn line with the government\u2019s privatization program under Proclamation No. 146\/1998, our factory was fully transferred to private ownership and is now proudly administered by AMAGA Private Limited Company.
\nToday, CGCPF is registered and licensed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry under Ethiopian trade law. We are committed to building a world-class, value-driven organization, and are currently implementing a fully integrated ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to enhance our operations and ensure the highest standards.

Job Summary:<\/p>\n
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanic to support our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will assist in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and vehicles to ensure their safe and efficient operation.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assist in the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical issues in equipment and vehicles.
\nPerform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacement, and lubrication.
\nHelp maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
\nEnsure tools and equipment are used properly and kept in good condition.
\nComply with all safety regulations and company policies.
\nReport any equipment faults to the supervisor promptly.
\nSupport senior mechanics in major repairs or overhauls.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
BSC\/TEVT level V\/ Level IV in General Mechanics, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering and related fields.
\n0\/1-year relevant work experience in Manufacturing Industry
