AFORO TRADING PLC, with its factory located in Semera Industrial Park, was established with the mission of producing high-quality edible iodized salt and industrial salt to support national efforts in enhancing the intake of essential micronutrients and addressing the widespread challenges of micronutrient deficiencies.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Perform electrical inspections, installations, maintenance, and repairs of machinery Electrical systems.
\nTroubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and execute corrective actions to minimize downtime.
\nInstall new electrical systems and equipment as required, ensuring they meet all safety and operational standards.
\nMaintain electrical control panels, circuit boards, wiring, and associated equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
\nCollaborate with the Maintenance Head and team members to ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to.
\nPerform routine checks and calibration of electrical equipment to maintain efficient operations.
\nEnsure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
\nAssist in the installation and testing of new equipment or electrical systems within the facility. Document and report electrical maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and the usage of parts and materials.
\nSupport in training staff on safe electrical practices and procedures.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Minimum level 4 Electrician, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
\n2+ years in the manufacturing sector.
\nIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control systems.
\nFamiliarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
\nProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
