1. Strategic & Group-Level Oversight<\/p>\n
Oversee and coordinate all financial operations across the GIFT Business Group and its subsidiaries.
\nDevelop and implement group-wide financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
\nLead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for all entities within the group.
\nMonitor cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
\nPrepare and present comprehensive project proposals to banks and financial institutions to secure loans and credit facilities.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
\nEnsure inter company transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
\nAnalyze group-wide profit and loss statements, identifying trends and advising on performance improvements.<\/p>\n
2. Financial Operations & Compliance<\/p>\n
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting teams.
\nEnsure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings.
\nReview and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
\nCoordinate internal and external audits, ensuring prompt resolution of audit issues.
\nEnsure full compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
\nDevelop, implement, and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.<\/p>\n
3. Financial Management & Analysis<\/p>\n
Provide in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, investment appraisals, and risk assessments.
\nSupport tax planning activities and ensure the timely filing of all statutory tax returns.
\nOversee key accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable\/receivable, and inventory accounting.
\nContinuously assess and enhance financial systems, tools, and reporting processes.<\/p>\n
4. Team Leadership & Development<\/p>\n
Train, mentor, and develop finance team members to build a high-performing department.
\nFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the finance team.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (master\u2019s\/MBA preferred)
\nProfessional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent
\n8+ years of progressive financial experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or deputy management role
\nProven experience managing finance in a multi-entity or group company structure
\nStrong experience in dealing with financial institutions, including loan and credit facilities
\nSolid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
\nProficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
