\nTinaw Business S.C. is legally registered entity established in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia. Located in Guraghe Zone of the Central Ethiopian State Ezga Woreda. The Company is currently engaged in the production and exports of rose flower on 32 hectares of greenhouse coverage and exports to the international market. Currently the company employs about 800 employees and generates millions Euro per year. Building on 18 years of experience and remarkable performance in the floriculture sector, the company has embarked on farm expansion project on 54 hectares of land. The first phase of the project implementation on 15 hectares is almost completed and the second phase has started on 25 hectares.
\nWe want to recruit and hire Junior Accountant for Addis Ababa Office.
\nMajor Responsibilities
\nWith the direct supervision of the Senior Accountant, the primary purpose of the job shall be to prepare and record petty cash payments, follow up and settle utility expenses, handle inventory postings and follow up settlement of taxes on monthly basis.
\n Duties and Responsibilities
\nFor the realization of the aforementioned job purposes, the major duties and responsibilities of the person assigned as Junior Accountant are mentioned as follows:<\/p>\n
Prepare and handle patty cash payment, checks, CPO and bank letters.
\nRecord\/post payments (PCPV and CPV) to peach tree accounting;
\nRecord\/post store related documents (GRN, SIV and GRIN) to peach tree accounting;
\nOrganize, coordinate and reconcile monthly stock take;
\nReplenish petty cash on a timely basis.
\nFollow up payments to be made to ET cargo, Emirates and other Suppliers.
\nFollow-up & settle telephone bills and other utility expenses on time.
\nFollow up on timely settlement of all advances and report to the line manager if there is delay.
\nTrack monthly income tax, pension, VAT and WHT from documents and prepare payment for timely remittance of government obligations.
\nAny other business as assigned by immediate supervisor.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualification, experience and skills: The minimum requirements for the position are as follows.<\/p>\n
Bachelor degree in Accounting
\nOnly 0 \u2013 1 year of relevant work experience. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
\nExcellent MS Office knowledge and Peach tree accounting
\nOutstanding organizational and time management skills
