The ESX Young Professionals Program (YPP) is a 12-month, full-time, on-the-job training program designed for talented and highly motivated recent graduates. It aims to equip participants with practical knowledge, technical skills, and professional exposure in capital markets, exchange operations, financial analysis, policy, and regulation.
\nThe program is non-renewable and does not guarantee full-time employment with ESX or its partners upon completion. However, successful candidates will be well-positioned for opportunities in various institutions within the capital market ecosystem and beyond.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nParticipants will be assigned to different departments or projects within the ESX. Typical responsibilities may include:<\/p>\n
Conducting economic and market research.
\nPerforming financial and data analysis.
\nSupporting listing and trading operations.
\nContributing to the development of regulatory and operational frameworks.
\nPreparing reports, presentations, and policy briefs.
\nSupporting stakeholder engagement and investor education initiatives.
\nAssisting in the development of analytical models and dashboards.
\nParticipate in project management activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
\nAssist in coordinating and tracking project milestones.
\nCollaborate with teams across different departments, mainly in Business development and operations.
\nParticipate in training programs that the Exchange provides to enhance financial an d business acumen<\/p>\n
For applicants with a technology background, additional responsibilities may include:<\/p>\n
Supporting the ongoing implementation, optimization, and management of core digital systems.
\nAssisting with system performance monitoring, bug tracking, and minor updates to ensure high availability and reliability.
\nWriting or modifying scripts or basic code (e.g., Python, SQL, or JavaScript) for data automation, process improvements, or internal tooling.
\nEngaging in research and exploration of emerging technologies such as blockchain and digital asset infrastructure.
\nSupporting continuous improvement initiatives, including feedback gathering, enhancement recommendations, and participation in system upgrades.<\/p>\n
For applicants with a design or communications background:<\/p>\n
Designing infographics, brochures, and slide decks to support market communication and investor education.
\nCreating digital content for ESX\u2019s website and social media using tools like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or Figma.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree (completed within the last two years) in Economics, Engineering, Architecture, IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
\nA minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 is required.
\nFor female applicants, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is accepted to encourage gender inclusion.
\nApplicants with a background in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Multimedia Design are also encouraged to apply, especially if they demonstrate strong digital communication and visual storytelling skills relevant to financial education and public engagement.
\nFresh graduates with up to two years of related experience.
