Job Summary<\/p>\n
The Production and Operations Manager oversees all aspects of steel manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic planning to optimize factory performance and meet organizational goals.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
\nDevelop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
\nMonitor and improve manufacturing processes using lean principles
\nCoordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
\nAnalyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
\nLead and mentor production supervisors and staff
\nEnsure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards
\nManage budgets, resource allocation, and cost control initiatives<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
\nMinimum 5\u20137 years of experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry
\nProven leadership in managing large-scale production teams
\nStrong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and equipment
\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
\nStrong communication and interpersonal abilities
