This collaboration increases effectiveness, both in working in the target countries and in campaigns change to advocacy aimed at influencing the attitudes and policies of politicians and general public\u202fopinion and awareness in Europe.<br \/>\nMore information at https:\/\/www.peopleinneed.net\/ or HERE.<br \/>\nPIN would like to invite energetic, disciplined, responsible\u202fConsortium Lead applicant to work under Emergency department<br \/>\nLength of Contract: for 7 months with high possible extension<br \/>\nNumber required: 1 (one)<br \/>\nSalary: 838 USD<br \/>\nPlace of Work: \u2013 Based in Addis Ababa with frequent field travel to Oromia and Amhara region.<br \/>\nReports to: Emergency Response and Recovery Program Manager (ERRPM)<br \/>\n Job Summary:<br \/>\nJob Summary:<br \/>\nThe Consortium Lead will provide strategic leadership and coordination for the EiE and Protection-focused emergency response consortium. The role involves managing relationships with implementing partners, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of interventions, and maintaining compliance with donor and humanitarian standards. The Consortium Lead will work closely with Project Managers, government agencies, donors, and other key stakeholders to strengthen programmatic impact, accountability, and visibility of the response.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. Program Oversight and Leadership<\/p>\n<p>Lead and oversee the overall implementation of EiE and Protection interventions under the consortium.<br \/>\nFacilitate coordination between partner organizations, ensuring a harmonized approach to project delivery.<br \/>\nMaintain strong communication with donors, government authorities, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.<br \/>\nRepresent the consortium in relevant cluster meetings (Education, Child Protection, GBV) and ensure participation in inter-agency coordination forums.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement partner capacity-strengthening initiatives, including training and technical support.<\/p>\n<p>2. Program Planning &amp; Implementation<\/p>\n<p>Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed work plans, budgets, and procurement plans.<br \/>\nEnsure alignment of activities with Education in Emergencies (EiE) standards, INEE Minimum Standards, and Child Protection Minimum Standards.<br \/>\nOversee the establishment and support of Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS), teacher training, distribution of learning materials, and psychosocial support programs.<br \/>\nEnsure integration of protection within EiE interventions, including safe learning environments, GBV prevention, and referral mechanisms.<br \/>\nConduct regular field monitoring visits and provide technical guidance to implementing partners.<\/p>\n<p>3. Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Advocacy<\/p>\n<p>Build and maintain strong relationships with the Ministry of Education, child protection authorities, donors, and community leaders.<br \/>\nAdvocate for policy changes and funding to enhance EiE and Protection interventions.<br \/>\nPromote meaningful community participation in project design, implementation, and monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting<\/p>\n<p>Ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) systems are in place for tracking project progress.<br \/>\nLead the development of high-quality donor reports, case studies, and best practices.<br \/>\nEnsure the collection and analysis of gender-disaggregated data and feedback mechanisms to improve project effectiveness.<br \/>\nSupport real-time evaluations and learning events to enhance program quality.<\/p>\n<p>5. Financial &amp; Compliance Management<\/p>\n<p>Ensure consortium partners adhere to donor regulations, organizational policies, and humanitarian principles.<br \/>\nLead budget oversight and financial tracking for consortium activities.<br \/>\nMitigate risks related to fraud, corruption, and operational security.<\/p>\n<p>ACCOUNCOUNTABILITY AND SAFEGUARDING including Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH)<\/p>\n<p>Carry out the duties in accordance with the PIN Code of Conduct and Key policies.<br \/>\nParticipate in training and awareness raising (CoC and KP, Safeguarding\u2026).<br \/>\nImplement Safeguarding measures throughout the project cycle including a risk analysis related to SEAH and Child protection for each project and develop a mitigation plan accordingly.<br \/>\nEnsure that his\/her team members attend training and awareness sessions and carry out the duties in accordance with PIN Code of Conduct and Key policies.<br \/>\nEnsure that due diligence and\/or capacity assessments of partners include an assessment of partners\u2019 implementation of key safeguarding and risk policies\/ procedure including the prevention of SEAH.<br \/>\nCreate and maintain a fulfilling and protective environment.<br \/>\nGeneral obligations and responsibilities<br \/>\nThe Employee is obligated not to purvey any information concerning any of PIN activities to outsiders (including former PIN employees, who may no more be informed about current process in PIN).<br \/>\nPIN is a relief and development organization whose aim is to help and assist needy people.
