As an Income Auditor, you will monitor all transactions as they contribute to or detract hotel revenue.
\nSpecific Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Carry out daily checks of revenue via an Operations Audit as per hotel standards
\n\u2022 Reconcile and monitor commissions, housekeeper and rate discrepancies, and Conference and Banqueting Revenue against daily function sheets
\n\u2022 Check non-arrivals, late departures, no sales\/voids, management bills, bill sequence and pay-outs
\n\u2022 Check bills signed to Room Account and record all covers
\n\u2022 Record Reset Counter
\n\u2022 Spot-check Function Diary and the settlement of function bills
\n\u2022 Reconcile telephone, Pay TV, newspaper revenue, guest laundry income, corrections and allowance
\n\u2022 Ensure Advanced Deposits are current
\n\u2022 Recommend improvements to processes as required
\n\u2022 Execute on tasks\/requests as instructed by the Finance Manager and\/or General Manager<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
BA Degree in Accounting & Previous Accounts\/Finance experience in a high-volume department, preferably within a hotel environment
\n\u2022 Experience in the hotel \/ leisure \/ retail sector
\n\u2022 Possess strong organizational skills
\n\u2022 A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
\n\u2022 Strong influencing, inter-personal and communication skills
\n\u2022 Excellent analytical skills
