Strategic Planning and Execution<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with company goals.<br \/>\nApply frameworks such as Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to link strategic objectives with performance indicators across customer, financial, internal process, and learning\/growth perspectives.<br \/>\nAnalyze local and regional market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape.<br \/>\nCustomize strategies to Ethiopia\u2019s socio-economic, political, and cultural realities.<\/p>\n<p>2. Team Leadership and Management<\/p>\n<p>Lead and mentor sales and marketing teams across ERP, custom software, and website builder verticals.<br \/>\nSet clear KPIs and monitor team performance using strategic performance tools (BSC, KPIs, OKRs).<br \/>\nBuild a performance-based, collaborative, and learning-driven culture.<\/p>\n<p>3. Sales Management<\/p>\n<p>Develop sales plans with clear targets and achievable milestones.<br \/>\nOversee major client negotiations, especially in high-value B2B opportunities.<br \/>\nExpand geographic coverage in Ethiopia, including underserved regional and rural markets.<\/p>\n<p>4. Marketing Management<\/p>\n<p>Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.<br \/>\nEnsure culturally appropriate and impactful branding, PR, and content strategies.<br \/>\nLeverage Ethiopian media (TV, radio, digital, roadshows) to build awareness and trust.<\/p>\n<p>5. Customer Relationship &amp; Market Expansion<\/p>\n<p>Strengthen client loyalty through consultative selling, after-sales service, and account management.<br \/>\nExplore expansion opportunities in COMESA countries and regional markets.<br \/>\nLead efforts in customer satisfaction measurement and retention strategy.<\/p>\n<p>6. Budgeting and Financial Oversight<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and manage annual sales and marketing budgets.<br \/>\nMonitor campaign and project ROI to ensure cost-efficiency.<br \/>\nAlign budget planning with strategic objectives and resource availability.<\/p>\n<p>7. Compliance and Governance<\/p>\n<p>Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations in Ethiopia\u2019s tech and commercial sectors.<br \/>\nImplement transparent documentation, reporting, and review practices.<\/p>\n<p>8. Digital Transformation and Innovation<\/p>\n<p>Champion adoption of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and e-commerce platforms.<br \/>\nDrive ERP integration within marketing and sales workflows.<br \/>\nEnsure tech strategy is responsive to Ethiopia\u2019s infrastructure limitations.<\/p>\n<p>9. Cultural and Social Intelligence<\/p>\n<p>Adapt marketing strategies to Ethiopia\u2019s multicultural and multilingual society.<br \/>\nRespect religious seasons, cultural norms, and social sensitivities in all communications.<br \/>\nLocalize messaging across Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Tigrigna, and other key languages.<\/p>\n<p>10.
