This position has the role of implementing, following up, monitoring and evaluating the program activities, and securing commitments and accountability for FSL results in the implementation area.<br \/>\nEnsure correct beneficiary selection procedure and criteria are use during beneficiaries targeting process<br \/>\nEnsure any feedback from beneficiaries or target communities correctly collected and shared with coordinator, are responded to appropriately or raised with FSL manager, Advisor or Manager if needed<br \/>\nSCOPE OF ROLE:<br \/>\nReports to: FSL program manager<br \/>\nStaff Directly Reporting to this Post: None<br \/>\nDotted line relationship\u2013 MEAL<br \/>\nFunctional relationship\u2013 Project Coordinator\/Manager<br \/>\nJob specific roles and responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>This position has the role of implementing, following up, monitoring and evaluating the program activities, and securing commitments and accountability for FSL results in the implementation area.<br \/>\nResponsible for FSL day to day activity implementation in assigned woredas<br \/>\nWork closely with other staffs, local government line ministries and the communities in the planning and coordination of Save the Children FSL Activity.<br \/>\nProvide regular report and updates to the Project Manager regarding on project activities from the Field<br \/>\nEnsure correct beneficiary selection procedure and criteria are followed by Community Facilitator, community mobilisers and committees;<br \/>\nEnsure any feedback from beneficiaries or target communities shared by FSL Project Facilitator and the community members are responded to appropriately or raised with Project<br \/>\nCoordinator, and Take any Advisor or Manager as needed<br \/>\nSupport Community Facilitator in the planning of their day-to-day activities;<br \/>\nCoordinate with FSL Coordinator and field finance team, field logistics in the planning of cash distribution activities.<br \/>\nEnsure that beneficiaries are adequately communicated about project activities and plans, including distribution date and conditions required for verification.<br \/>\nTraining of FSL Facilitator and data collectors on PDM tools and price monitoring tools and regularly check the quality of information collected<br \/>\nProvide regular progress report to the Project coordinator as per the requirement<br \/>\nPrepare monthly and quarterly plans for monitoring, review and quarterly and annual project reports and plans<br \/>\nBe fully aware of how far the project fulfils child rights in terms of SCI\u2019s strategic and thematic plans. Ensure that Child Rights programming is effectively incorporated into all aspects of SCI\u2019s work<br \/>\nOrganize meetings to sensitize communities about the purpose and modalities of the food security and livelihoods project<br \/>\nInsure all Document relevant distribution data (Beneficiary List, Master list are well Completed and Corrected)<br \/>\nParticipate and lead selection of beneficiaries for the different Criteria<br \/>\nPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.<br \/>\nWorks closely with implementing partners to oversee quality of work and provide technical support<\/p>\n<p>SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS (our Values in Practice)<br \/>\nAccountability:<\/p>\n<p>Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling Save the Children values<br \/>\nHolds the team and partners accountable to deliver on their responsibilities \u2013 giving them the freedom to deliver in the best way they see fit, providing the necessary development to improve performance and applying appropriate consequences when results are not achieved<\/p>\n<p>Ambition:<\/p>\n<p>Sets ambitious and challenging goals for themselves (and their team), takes responsibility for their own personal development and encourages others to do the same<br \/>\nWidely shares their personal vision for Save the Children, engages and motivates others<br \/>\nFuture orientated, thinks strategically<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration:<\/p>\n<p>Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, members and external partners and supporters<br \/>\nValues diversity, sees it as a source of competitive strength<br \/>\nApproachable, good listener, easy to talk to<\/p>\n<p>Creativity:<\/p>\n<p>Develops and encourages new and innovative solutions<br \/>\nWilling to take disciplined risks<\/p>\n<p>Integrity:<\/p>\n<p>Honest, encourages openness and transparency<\/p>\n<p>About You<\/p>\n<p>MINIMUM QUALFICATION, EXPEREINCE, COMPETENCIES<br \/>\nQUALIFICATION<\/p>\n<p>B.A\/BSC degree in agriculture, Agricultural Extension, livelihoods, rural development, economics or related field<br \/>\nAt least 2 years of proven experience in livelihoods, NRM and DRR, food security, and\/or emergency livelihood\/food security interventions in NGOs or similar organizations in pastoral areas<br \/>\nStrong Knowledge for Cash Transfer Modality and Selection Criteria<br \/>\nSubstantial experience in managing team, coordinating, mobilizing community, planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring and reporting<br \/>\nProven ability to manage a complex and demanding workload<br \/>\nExcellent Report Writing and English proficiency skills<br \/>\nExperience and knowledge of pastoral context preferably Afar region and knowledge of Afar language is mandatory<br \/>\nGood advocacy, communication, presentation and facilitation skills<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal skills and an ability to train and mentor staff<br \/>\nWork experience in diverse international NGOs is an asset<br \/>\nAbility and willingness to travel and work in rural areas where the project is implemented<br \/>\nQualified Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY <\/p>\n<p>Position holder must have good interpersonal skills &amp;
