\nDroga pharma PLC having a strong local presence on the Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals market has established a partnership with Bio pharmaceuticals.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
\nEnsure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
\nPrepare and analyze variance reports to identify trends and discrepancies
\nAssist with the preparation of audit schedules and work papers.
\nPrepare consolidated financial statements (if applicable).
\nMaintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
\nReview and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
\nInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues
\nEnsure the proper coding and classification of transactions.
\nParticipate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
\nPrepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
\nAnalyze financial data and identify any potential issues.
\nAssist with the preparation of audit schedules and work
\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting principles and regulations.
\nAssist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
\nMaintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
\nAssist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
\nEnsure that accounting policies and procedures are followed consistently.
\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
\nAssist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
\nMonitor actual performance against budget and forecast.
\nAnalyze variances and identify potential risks and opportunities.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting or Finance
\nCPA certification preferred
\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail
\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
\nExcellent problem-solving abilities
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team
\nKnowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements in accounting
