\nPurpose of the Position
\nThe Junior People and Admin Officer will be responsible to provide assistance for day-to-day general people and administrative operations of the organization.
\nS\/he will be responsible for processing employee data, assisting in hiring processes and associated administrative tasks.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and other documents as per the employee records checklist provided
\nUpdate internal databases as well as finance team with new hire information
\nGather necessary payroll data like TIN number, bank accounts and working days of new employees and provide regular report to the finance department in time for salary payment
\nLiaise with line departments for their recruitment needs, get inputs to develop full job descriptions, publish and remove job ads
\nReview applications against provided job description and long list candidates and provide them to the concerned line manager for review
\nSchedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
\nRespond to employees\u2019 questions about benefits (for example, number of vacation days they\u2019re eligible for)
\nSupport administrative needs within the organization as instructed<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Requirement<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in business fields such as Management, HR, Business Administration or closely related fields
\n6 Months \u2013 1 year experience in a fast paced environment in a similar position
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\nExcellent analytical and problem solving skills;
\nExcellent organizational skills and efficiency;
\nExcellent sense of initiative, ability to set priorities and work under pressure with accuracy and dedication;
\nGood knowledge of the Ethiopian labor legislation
