The senior technical assistance will work closely and liaise with the government health structure including the Regional Health Bureau, Woreda Health and Water offices, other implementing agencies, other Concern teams and the community. He\/She is this charged to ensure collaboration with all the relevant stakeholders at all levels of the project implementation; kebele, Woreda and at the zonal level.<br \/>\nMain duties &amp;<br \/>\nResponsibilities:<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\nTechnical Support and Facilitation<br \/>\n\u2022 Undertake jointly with relevant authorities at the Woreda level an assessment of the WASH situation at the health facility level, community level and provide recommendation to address existing WASH gaps at those health facilities and kebeles.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide detailed technical reports to the WASH Engineer\/Team leader following such assessments.<br \/>\n\u2022 In liaison with the WASH Engineer and other team members organize and undertake relevant training on WASH to the health facility staff, project staff and project beneficiaries<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure strong project management of all WASH interventions so that projects are designed and implemented on time, within scope and budget and achieve high quality outputs<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure an integrated and multi sectoral approach to WASH programming, assist the team in finding ways to integrate\/link and combine hygiene &amp; health promotion, water and sanitation facilities design, construction &amp; maintenance, with Health , Nutrition, protection etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that cross cutting issues are mainstreamed into WASH programmes.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide regular progress reports to Woreda Team leader\/WASH Engineer<br \/>\n\u2022 Preparation of detailed work plans, technical drawings, bills of quantity, procurement plan and bid documents for the implementation of WASH projects as necessary.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify and address capacity building opportunities for both concern staff and line ministry staff; Health, Water bureau and others at Woreda level as necessary.<br \/>\nCoordination and networking<br \/>\n\u2022 To liaise with Government and other relevant stakeholders both at Woreda and Zonal level as requested by the line manager.<br \/>\n\u2022 Establish good working relationship with Concern staff, government bodies, other WASH partners etc<br \/>\n\u2022 Participate in WASH cluster meeting as required.<br \/>\nPlanning, Reporting and Accountability<br \/>\n\u2022 Submit weekly and monthly progress update on the WASH activities to the WASH Engineer<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports by supporting the WASH Engineer in gathering relevant information from the field.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that program participants and stakeholders have clear information about the program activities as appropriate and relevant to them.<br \/>\n\u2022 Give technical support to the field staff on mainstreaming gender, protection, accountability and inequality in the implementation of WASH and Infrastructure activities.<br \/>\nAdditional Duties<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform other duties assigned by the line manager for the accomplishment of program objectives.<br \/>\nEmergency response<br \/>\nConcern is committed to responding to emergencies\u202fefficiently and effectively in order to help affected people meet their disseminated\u202famong programme participants and communities.<\/p>\n<p>Safeguarding<\/p>\n<p>Able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, and feel confident that they have been understood.<br \/>\nUnderstands local safeguarding structures and arrangements.<br \/>\nPractice in a manner that seeks to reduce the risk of abuse, harm or neglect.<br \/>\nIdentifies and refers to appropriate services any other associated persons including carers, family members and children at risk.<br \/>\nAble to document safeguarding concerns, and maintain appropriate record keeping, recording the wishes and views of the adult or child at risk, differentiating between fact and
