This role ensures consistent volume growth, brand visibility, and market share expansion in line with company objectives.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. Sales Strategy &amp; Execution<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans aligned with national objectives.<br \/>\nAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the chewing gum portfolio.<br \/>\nEnsure numeric and weighted distribution across rural and semi-urban outlets.<br \/>\nPlan and execute market development activities and consumer promotions in upcountry areas.<\/p>\n<p>2. Territory &amp; Channel Development<\/p>\n<p>Identify and onboard new distributors in white-space markets.<br \/>\nExpand retail footprint in general trade (GT), wholesale and semi-organized trade channels.<br \/>\nConduct regular market visits to assess product availability, visibility, and pricing.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with planogram and in-store branding execution.<\/p>\n<p>3. Team Leadership<\/p>\n<p>Lead, coach, and monitor a team of Territory Promoters, Sales Representatives, and Merchandisers.<br \/>\nConduct regular training sessions to improve field team skills in sales, merchandising, and negotiation.<br \/>\nTrack performance KPIs and drive accountability across the sales team.<\/p>\n<p>4. Distributor Management<\/p>\n<p>Manage relationships with distributors: monitor stock levels, ensure timely ordering, and credit control.<br \/>\nFacilitate secondary sales tracking and reporting from distributors.<br \/>\nResolve channel conflicts and support distributor infrastructure development.<\/p>\n<p>5.
