LonAdd HR Consultancy Plc (www.lonadd.com) is a Recruitment & Outsourcing Company based in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, with branch offices in Dukem, Hawassa and Bahir Dar. We are looking to recruit Operations Supervisor to join On Behalf of Our Client.
\nPurpose of the Role
\nThe Head of Programs and Cooperation is tasked with overseeing the entire lifecycle of programmatic initiatives and donor-funded projects, including their design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This position plays a crucial role in fostering strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders and governmental entities, managing donor relations, and ensuring adherence to grant agreements and organizational goals. Additionally, the Head of Programs and Cooperation is responsible for maintaining a positive organizational image through strategic communications and public relations initiatives.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nProgram Management<\/p>\n
Supervise the comprehensive planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation phases of all projects to ensure optimal outcomes.
\nVerify that programs adhere to the framework of organizational objectives, donor stipulations, and pertinent national policies.
\nOffer strategic leadership and technical expertise to program teams to enhance operational effectiveness.<\/p>\n
Partnership and Cooperation<\/p>\n
Cultivate and sustain strategic alliances with donors, governmental entities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other relevant stakeholders.
\nSpearhead fundraising initiatives for DKT Ethiopia, employing innovative strategies to enhance resource mobilization.
\nNegotiate, formalize, and oversee Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and partnership agreements, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
\nAct as the organization\u2019s representative at significant forums, conferences, and partnership meetings, effectively advocating for organizational goals and objectives.
\nDonor & Grant Management
\nSpearhead the development of proposals in close collaboration with the Finance Department to align strategic objectives with funding opportunities.
\nManage and ensure the accuracy and compliance of donor reports, focusing on quality and adherence to deadlines.
\nConduct ongoing oversight of project budgets in partnership with the Finance Department to maintain fiscal accountability and optimize resource allocation.
\nMonitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
\nLead the development and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks to assess program performance and impact rigorously.
\nFacilitate the assimilation of lessons learned and best practices to inform the design and execution of future initiatives.
\nEnhance knowledge management processes and internal learning opportunities to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
\nCommunications
\nOversee corporate communication strategies to deliver compelling narratives, drive advocacy efforts, and enhance brand prominence.
\nEnsure that program communications are consistent with donor visibility standards and requirements.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
\nMinimum 8 years of experience in program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
\nProven experience working with donors and managing grants in a hybrid NGO\/commercial context.
\nStrong understanding of partnership building and stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n
