We operate as a federation that includes several associations contributing human and financial resources, managing projects, and carrying out our social mission.<br \/>\nThrough the ECHO Fund, Humanity and Inclusion (HI) is currently running EORE and NTS activities under the Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) program. This effort aims to reduce the risk of injuries and fatalities from explosive ordnance (EO) in heavily contaminated areas.<br \/>\nThe EORE\/NTS Community Liaison Officer will help implement humanitarian mine action activities through community engagement, explosive ordnance risk education (EORE), non-technical survey (NTS), capacity building of community focal points, and assistance for victim identification and referrals. This role ensures accountability, inclusion, and compliance with our safeguarding policies, the Code of Conduct (CoC), and standards for Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).<br \/>\n2. Key Responsibilities &amp; Activities:<br \/>\n2.1. Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE)<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide EORE sessions to affected communities, IDP sites, schools, and other vulnerable groups.<br \/>\n\u2022 Tailor risk education messages to fit the age, gender, disability, and cultural context of the communities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in developing and sharing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.<br \/>\n\u2022 Record and report community feedback and changes in behavior related to EO risks.<br \/>\n2.2. Non-Technical Survey (NTS)<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct NTS in suspected hazardous areas (SHAs) following approved SOPs and IMAS standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform desk research, key informant interviews, community mapping, and focus group discussions to gather contamination information.<br \/>\n\u2022 Accurately document and report data, including GPS coordinates, maps, and impact assessments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Help prioritize hazardous areas for clearance and risk reduction efforts.<br \/>\n2.3. Training &amp; Capacity Building of Community Focal Points (CFPs)<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify, train, and mentor CFPs to carry out community-based EORE activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide Training of Trainers (ToT) for CFPs to ensure skills transfer and sustainability.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor and support activities led by CFPs, offering refresher training as needed.<br \/>\n2.4. Victim Identification &amp; Victim Assistance:<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify survivors and victims of explosive ordnance incidents during community interactions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Gather and report victim data in line with our organization\u2019s and national referral guidelines.<br \/>\n\u2022 Facilitate referrals for victims and survivors to suitable medical, psychosocial, and economic support services.<br \/>\n\u2022 Work with victim assistance partners to ensure coordinated support.<br \/>\n2.5. Code of Conduct (CoC), Safeguarding &amp; PSEA Compliance:<br \/>\n\u2022 Follow HI\u2019s Code of Conduct (CoC), safeguarding policies, and PSEA standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Report any safeguarding or PSEA concerns right away, following proper procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain confidentiality, dignity, and respect while working with communities, especially survivors and vulnerable groups.<br \/>\n2.6. Cross-cutting Issues:<br \/>\n\u2022 Promote gender, age, and disability inclusion in all activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure accountability to affected populations (AAP) by setting up community feedback and complaints mechanisms.<br \/>\n\u2022 Incorporate protection principles into NTS, EORE, and victim assistance activities.<br \/>\n\u2022 Make sure activities do not reinforce inequalities and are sensitive to cultural and local dynamics.<br \/>\n2.7.
