\nJob Description:
\nNutrition Project Coordinator, will play a vital role in promoting and implementing nutrition projects to improve the well-being of project target population and be responsible for developing, coordinating and evaluating health and nutrition initiatives, ensuring they align with ASDEPO\u2019s goals and objectives.
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition project and initiatives that address the needs of our target population.
\nEnsure that all the necessary materials, supplies & equipment are available for project activities
\nPlan, organize, coordinate and control all Nutrition activities and human & material resources of the project.
\nAssist M&E officer to produce consolidated and well organized monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and reports of the project.
\nFacilitate, coordinate and participate in staff meetings and stakeholders review meetings, management meetings, different workshops and trainings when required.<\/p>\n
Conduct assessments and analysis to identify health and nutrition needs, gaps, and trends within the community.
\nCollaborate with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders to plan and execute health and nutrition interventions and campaigns.
\nProvide guidance and support to program staff and volunteers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality health and nutrition services.
\nConduct training sessions and workshops to educate individuals and community groups on various nutrition topics.
\nMonitor and evaluate program effectiveness, collect data, and prepare reports to measure outcomes and impact.
\nStay updated on current trends and best practices in the field of Nutrition.
\nMaintain accurate records, budgets, and documentation related to nutrition projects.
\nRepresent the organization in meetings, conferences, and community events related to nutrition.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
MPH (Public Health, Nutrition).
\nThree and above Years\u2019 experience in developing and implementing health and nutrition projects, preferably in a community or non-profit setting.
\nStrong knowledge of public health principles, nutrition guidelines, and health promotion strategies.
\nFamiliarity with relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines related to health and nutrition programs.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
\nStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
\nProficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting using relevant software and tools.
\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
\nPassion for improving community health and nutrition outcomes.<\/p>\n
Desirable
\nKnowledge on emergency nutrition\/IDP context is preferred.

Required Language<\/p>\n
Fluent spoken and written local language is an asset.
