Kurmuk Gold Mine PLC (KGM) is a subsidiary of Allied Gold Corp, a company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, with mining operations in multiple countries including Ethiopia, Mali, and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire. KGM holds a Large-Scale Gold Mining License and three Exploration Licenses for its Ethiopian project. These licenses are located in western Ethiopia, approximately 750 km from Addis Ababa and about 90 km northwest of Assosa, in the Benishangul-Gumuz Regional State. KGM is currently engaged in both mine development and exploration activities at the site.

\nTHE ROLE
\nThe FP&A Superintendent will act as a bridge between operations and corporate finance, responsible for financial visibility, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and scenario planning, especially within a mining context.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
\nBuild financial models (operational, capital projects, life-of-mine).
\nAnalyze costs, production of KPIs, and operational drivers.
\nManage financial reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
\nProvide insights into leadership and corporate teams.
\nSupport capital expenditure planning and scenario analysis (commodity, regulation, risks).
\nCollaborate with geology, maintenance, procurement, and operations teams.
\nSafeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI): Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Kurmuk Gold Mine PLC Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
\nEducation:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
\nExperience: 7+ years in FP&A\/corporate finance\/strategic planning, with 2\u20133 years in mining or heavy industry (preferably site-based).<\/p>\n

\nTechnical Skills:<\/p>\n
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
\nFinancial modeling tools (Excel, Power BI, Hyperion)
\nCapital budgeting, cost control, mining operations understanding
\nStrong strategic and operational literacy.
\nAbility to translate technical & financial data into executive-level insights.
\nWorks well under pressure with tight deadlines.
