DMC Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to oversee all quality assurance and control activities for the Nekemte Airport Construction Project in Ethiopia. The QC Supervisor will ensure compliance with international aviation standards, Ethiopian construction regulations, and company quality policies.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Implement and enforce the Contractor\u2019s Quality Control Plan.
\nMonitor daily construction works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
\nEnsure approved materials and methods are used on site.
\nInspect ongoing and completed works before consultant inspection.
\nIdentify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
\nArrange and supervise material testing (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and steel).
\nReview and verify all test results before submission.
\nMaintain records of tests, inspections, NCRs, and corrective actions.
\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
\nCoordinate with engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and consultant representatives.
\nSupport HSE team in ensuring quality and safety compliance.
\nSupervise and guide quality inspectors and laboratory technicians<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
\nMinimum 5\u20137 years in construction quality control (airport\/road\/infrastructure preferred).
\nKnowledge of Ethiopian standards, ERA guidelines, ICAO\/FAA requirements (advantage).
\nStrong documentation and reporting skills.
