Requirements <\/p>\n
Managing all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, conferences, events, and room service.
\nDeveloping and implementing strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
\nEnsuring high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
\nTraining, mentoring, and supervising staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
\nCreating and maintaining menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet guest preferences.
\nMonitoring inventory levels and managing ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
\nImplementing and enforcing health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
\nHandling guest feedback and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
\nCollaborate with hotel executives and management to ascertain the requirements for food and beverage at any time, whether for general guests or special events and occasions.
\nManage the stock rotation and inventory of all consumables and perishables, ensuring that all consumables are fresh.
\nMonitor the performance of the food and beverage team and perform regular performance reviews.
\nManage the food and beverage budget, forecast future budget requirements, and provide reports on expenditure and costs.
\nDevelop and implement effective feedback gathering initiative to gain information about the satisfaction of guests\u2019 meal experiences.
\nCollaborate with the HR department to hire and train new staff as needed.
\nQualifications
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in hospitality, Business Administration or related field, or 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role and equivalent education
\nExcellent communication skills both written and verbal
\nConfident to communicate with various people from different backgrounds
\nGreat attention to detail
\nExcellent leadership abilities
\nGood problem-solving abilities
\nSound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook
\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to set and achieve KPIs
\nProven track record of success in a similar role.
\nBasic math proficiency for handling transactions and managing budgets.
\nFlexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
