\nAt-Con Engineering & Architecture Consultancy Plc., a well-established and reputable consulting company based in Addis Ababa, is engaged in the design and supervision of civil engineering works, including roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and other infrastructure projects. We are seeking One (1) for a skilled and proactive IT Expert to manage and support our organization\u2019s information technology systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and data security while providing technical support to staff and maintaining IT infrastructures.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.
\nManage and troubleshoot network systems (LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls).
\nProvide technical support and training to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
\nEnsure data security through regular system updates, backups, and access control management.
\nMonitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
\nMaintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
\nSet up email systems, user accounts, and network access rights.
\nSupport the development and maintenance of databases and information systems.
\nCollaborate with management to implement IT strategies and digital solutions.
\nEnsure compliance with organizational IT policies and data protection standards.<\/p>\n

About You<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
\nMinimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT support, networking, or system administration.
\nProficiency in hardware troubleshooting, networking, and server management.<\/p>\n
Desirable<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of Windows and\/or Linux operating systems.
\nFamiliarity with database management systems and cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS).
\nExperience with cybersecurity practices and data protection measures.
\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
