Job Summary
\nAccountable to the Audit advisor and functionally, to Top Management Execute and lead the activities of undertaking examination and review of financial, administrative, and technical operations to ensure compliance with policies & procedures. Add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
\nDuties and Responsibilities
\nAudit Planning & Execution<\/p>\n
Lead, plan, and execute internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan.
\nIdentify key risks, develop audit programs, and ensure audits are conducted efficiently and effectively
\nFollows up and ensures the proper implementation of external auditor\u2019s proposals and recommendations in a timely manner
\nensures that the company\u2019s operational activities are executed by government proclamations, directives, and approved policies and procedures of the company<\/p>\n
Risk & Control Assessment<\/p>\n
Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls across departments.
\nIdentify potential areas of risk exposure and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
\nEvaluate compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
\nIdentify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost saving
\nMaintain open communication with management and the audit committee
\nDocument process and prepare audit findings memorandum<\/p>\n
Reporting & Follow-up<\/p>\n
Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured audit reports.
\nPresent audit findings and recommendations to management.
\nMonitor and follow up on the implementation of agreed recommendations.
\nConducts special investigations on suspected corrupt acts, embezzlement, forgery, misrepresentation of facts, etc.\u2026 as deemed necessary and upon request<\/p>\n
Advisory & Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
Provide advisory support to management on risk and control issues.
\nPromote a culture of compliance, accountability, and operational excellence.
\nKeep updated with changes in auditing standards, industry regulations, and emerging risks.<\/p>\n
