\nThe National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133\/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its\u2019 institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Junior Finance Expert position who meet the following requirements.

\nJob Summary
\nThe Junior Finance Expert is responsible for developing and implementing effective and efficient financial planning, reporting, and accounting systems that help the operating departments achieve their objectives.
\nDuties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
Preparing payments and issuing invoices
\nKeep accurate records for all daily transactions
\nAssist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly financial reports
\nProcessing the settlement of advance payments for employees and purchasers
\nFollow up of the cashier\u2019s transaction and settlement for the advance
\nAssist in document preparation for audit<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Specification:
\nEducation and Work Experience:<\/p>\n
Master\u2019s or Bachelor\u2019s in Accounting & Finance, economics, Business, or related field
\n2 years for Masters or 4 years for BA<\/p>\n
Knowledge<\/p>\n
Knowledge of financial rules and regulations
\nKnowledge of tax laws
\nKnowledge of Internal implementation\/regulation of the organization
\nKnowledge of Payroll preparation
\nAccuracy and organization
\nAttention to detail
\nIFMIS Proficiency
\nAble to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines
\nGood communication skills
\nBudgeting
