\nJob Summary
\nThe Junior Accountant will assist the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Record daily financial transactions in accounting software and ledgers.
\nPrepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
\nReconcile bank statements and petty cash balances regularly.
\nMaintain accurate documentation and filing of all financial records.
\nAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
\nSupport the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
\nAssist with tax filing, payroll preparation, and statutory compliance.
\nProvide necessary documents and support during internal or external audits.
\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial recordkeeping.
\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.<\/p>\n

About You<\/p>\n
Educational Background:<\/p>\n
BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or Peachtree preferred).
