\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant for our construction project site in Weyra Sefer. The successful candidate will manage all financial and accounting functions related to the project, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations. This position is critical for maintaining the project\u2019s financial integrity and requires a proactive professional who can perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions \u2014 receipts, payments, and vouchers.
\n\u2022 Keep all financial documents, reports, and digital records safe, organized, and confidential.
\n\u2022 Ensure the association\u2019s financial information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
\n\u2022 Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow to ensure proper fund utilization.
\n\u2022 Process and verify payments for suppliers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
\n\u2022 Review all payment requests and deliverables from General and PT Contractors before approval.
\n\u2022 Verify purchase orders and contracts against goods received notes prior to payment.
\n\u2022 Record and verify stock for project materials and conduct monthly physical inspections.
\n\u2022 Maintain asset data for all cooperative equipment and assign user accountability.
\n\u2022 Reconcile current and blocked project bank accounts monthly.
\n\u2022 Track member contributions and penalties; follow up with non-contributors to avoid project delays.
\n\u2022 Prepare and maintain project financial plans based on contracts and budgets.
\n\u2022 Manage petty cash for small expenses (transportation, loading\/unloading), keeping full records.
\n\u2022 Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with cooperative policies and government financial regulations.
\n\u2022 Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with the project manager, procurement team, and other committee for smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Education: Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\nExperience: At least 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in construction projects or similar environments.
\nTechnical Skills:<\/p>\n
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for financial reporting and data analysis.
\nExperience with accounting software and financial record-keeping systems.
\nStrong knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and reconciliation procedures.<\/p>\n
