The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. This role ensures that HR strategies align with organizational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting employee development.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Recruitment & Staffing<\/p>\n
Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
\nDevelop workforce planning strategies aligned with organizational needs.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations & Engagement<\/p>\n
Build strong employee relations and resolve workplace issues effectively.
\nImplement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
Oversee performance appraisal systems and ensure fair evaluation processes.
\nProvide guidance to managers on employee performance improvement plans.<\/p>\n
Training & Development<\/p>\n
Identify training needs and design programs to build employee skills.
\nSupport leadership development and succession planning.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Policy Management<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.
\nDevelop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.<\/p>\n
Strategic HR Leadership<\/p>\n
Align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
\nAdvise senior management on HR trends, risks, and opportunities.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Requirements \u2013 HR Manager<\/p>\n
Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master\u2019s preferred).
\nProfessional Certification: HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent are an added advantage.
\nExperience: Minimum of 5\u20138 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
\nKnowledge: Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office tools.
\nLeadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage HR teams effectively.
\nCommunication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
\nStrategic Thinking: Ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals and drive employee engagement.
\nAdaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
