\nSummary Statements of duty and responsibilities
\nUnder the direct supervision of Greenhouse Manager, the greenhouse supervisors have the overall responsibility of monitoring all employees\u2019 performance that is under his\/her supervision and day to day activities in the production department.
\nDetailed responsibilities and Tasks:
\nThe essential function of this position includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n
Supervision of all the agricultural practices in the concerned variety \u2013 like harvesting, suckering, bending, crop maintenance etc.
\nAllocate duties, provide suitable instructions to and ensure working efficiencies to assigned workers in different a respective variety.
\nEnsure all production is in conformity with quality and production specifications as required.
\nProvide leadership and production support and guidance to the Assistant Supervisor.
\nAlways keep clean the working area and maintain good working ethics among the workers.
\nPrepare any reports as required by your respective manager.
\nMaintain good agricultural practice at all times.
\nProvide trainings to the workers
\nAny other duties as may be lawfully assigned to you by the Management from time to time<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Minimum skills and Qualifications
\nEDUCATION: <\/p>\n
Diploma or above in Agriculture, plant science, horticulture or any other related field.
\nFresh graduate are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
SKILLS: <\/p>\n
Proven leadership skills in farming.
\nKnowledge of monitoring and evaluation of human power.
\nGood management and communication skill.
\nDemonstrated analytical knowledge.
\nAble and willing to work under stress environment and should perform tasks independently.<\/p>\n
LANGUAGES: <\/p>\n
Fluent in Amharic.
