ARCON Design Build PLC is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Soil & Construction Material Laboratory Team Leader to oversee laboratory operations and ensure accurate testing of soils and construction materials. The role focuses on quality control, standards compliance, team supervision, and providing reliable technical reports to support engineering and construction projects.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Lead and supervise laboratory staff in daily testing activities.
\nOversee testing of soil, concrete, aggregates, and other construction materials.
\nEnsure compliance with national and international laboratory testing standards.
\nReview and validate laboratory test results and reports.
\nImplement quality assurance procedures and maintain equipment calibration.
\nCoordinate geotechnical investigation sampling and analysis.
\nManage laboratory resources and ensure safe working practices.
\nProvide technical guidance and training to laboratory technicians.
\nPrepare and submit periodic performance and quality reports.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Requirements
\nEducation<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Engineering, or related field.
\nCertification in laboratory testing or quality management is an advantage.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum 10\/12 years of progressive laboratory testing experience.
\nAt least 2\/3 years experience in a leadership role.
\nExperience in construction material and geotechnical testing is required.<\/p>\n
Knowledge<\/p>\n
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, construction materials, and testing standards.
\nKnowledge of geotechnical investigation methods.<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
Leadership and laboratory management abilities.
\nStrong report writing and quality assurance skills.
\nEquipment management, communication, and proficiency in MS Office and lab software.<\/p>\n
