\nJob Purpose:
\nThe Packaging Operator will ensure the safety agenda in the daily job. Operate and execute in a qualitative way the process and product-related tasks while improving the key performance indicators and production losses, leading to a safe working environment on machine\/area.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Works in line with the defined and implemented safety, environmental, and food safety standards. Following the 5S, Housekeeping and HACCP are related to the workplace.
\nIdentify the safety risks in their department.
\nApply LSR principles, including do\u2019s and don\u2019ts.
\nTake action where unsafe situations or behaviors occur, give feedback, and report to the relevant people.
\nSafely shut down and start up equipment for the yearly overhaul.
\nAct in compliance with HEINEKEN and local safety rules, standards, and procedures.
\nIdentify water and energy losses in their area of responsibility and suggest solutions.
\nImplement good environmental practices.
\nMake all the quality checks in line with the standards and procedures on simple packaging machines.
\nPerform quality and food safety checks in line with standards and safety procedures.
\nIdentify quality issues in their area.
\nTake part in improvement actions to prevent quality issues from arising and contribute to quality-related analyses (e.g., DAS, RCFAs, problem-solving).
\nClean and disinfect to the expected level in line with recipe standards, SOPs, and CILT.
\nExecutes the tagging process, CILT, and applies problem-solving tools. Participates and starts leading the improvement teams.
\nUse the digital tools available to report the information required for the DCS (e.g., shift handover list, downtime reports, shift performance information).
\nRestore and sustain basic conditions using the shop floor excellence tools displayed in digital applications (SOP, OPL, CILT activities, and 5S).
\nApply APM team methodology, steps 0-3.
\nTake part in TPM improvement activities related to safety, quality, the environment, and performance losses in their area (BDA, MSR, Kaizen, RCFA)
\nIdentify losses in the operation (extract, water, energy, material losses, etc.).
\nExecutes all the packaging operations on simple machines in line with the valid standards. Manage documentation and reporting for the working area.
\nOperate the equipment according to demand and seasonality.
\nPerform basic standards for the packaging process in their own area (all planned and routine activities \u2013 sampling, cleaning, start up and shutdown according to Standard Operating Procedures, etc. \u2013 and machine processes).
\nOperates the simple packaging machines. Execute basic maintenance tasks according to standards
\nSafely operate equipment in line with specifications and demand and ensure delivery On Time In Full.
\nCaptures and interprets performance data and executes corrective actions
\nRestore and sustain basic conditions using the shop floor (SOP, OPL, CILT activities, and 5S).
\nApply tagging and de-tagging, prioritize the tags, and eliminate equipment anomalies.<\/p>\n

\nExperience and Skills<\/p>\n
0 \u2013 2 years of experience, preferably in beverage\/logistic operation shop floor experience<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
Preferably TVET Electrical or Mechanical, Auto Mechanics & Automotive
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields
