\nAbout the Project \u2013 CREATE
\nCREATE (Creative Action for Empowerment of Aspiring Young Talents and Employment) builds on FCA?s Digital & Creative Economies Hub Project, supporting 1,200 youth from refugee and host communities with TVET\/higher education backgrounds. The project develops technical, entrepreneurial, and digital skills, provides access to networks, and supports 40 youth-led enterprises through business incubation, training, mentorship, and grants.
\nPosition Overview
\nThe Project Manager (PM) will manage FCA?s Creators Hub in Addis Ababa, ensuring high-quality planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of CREATE. The PM will strengthen partner and stakeholder engagement, oversee project deliverables, lead proposal and funding applications, and ensure the hub empowers youth with career guidance, work-readiness, entrepreneurial support, and access to digital and creative resources. The PM will also conduct market and needs assessments to align activities with labor market demands.
\nSpecific Responsibilities
\nProject Management & Reporting<\/p>\n
Develop implementation, procurement, budget, and M&E plans; monitor budgets and financial reporting.
\nSupervise project staff and local partners; ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and<\/p>\n
FCA standards.<\/p>\n
Collect user feedback, track hub performance, and share best practices.<\/p>\n
Hub Operations & Technical Support<\/p>\n
Oversee daily hub operations, career guidance services, and physical infrastructure.
\nDevelop hub policies, schedule activities, and ensure effective use of equipment and facilities.
\nOrganize workshops, masterclasses, and networking events; support job matching and transition programs.<\/p>\n
Enterprise & Youth Support<\/p>\n
Facilitate entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and cooperative support for freelancers and youth-led enterprises.
\nProvide access to online mentors, work-based learning, and creative sector resources.<\/p>\n
Community Engagement & Market Alignment<\/p>\n
Build partnerships with local\/international organizations, private sector, and employers.
\nConduct labor market research, needs assessments, and connect youth with job\/internship opportunities.
\nFoster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and a vibrant creative hub community.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications & Expertise<\/p>\n
BA\/BSc in Business, Education, Marketing, Social Sciences, TVET, or related field (MA\/MSc advantageous).
\nStrong project management, procurement, and financial oversight experience.
\nKnowledge of digital & creative industries, innovation ecosystems, and youth entrepreneurship.
\nExperience with private sector engagement, labor market research, and supporting youth career transitions.
