\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage and maintain inventory of automotive tools and consumables.
\nReceive, inspect, and store incoming supplies and equipment.
\nDistribute tools and consumables to mechanics and technicians as needed.
\nMonitor stock levels and reorder supplies to prevent shortages.
\nMaintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock movements.
\nEnsure proper storage and organization of tools and consumables.
\nCoordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials.
\nConduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
\nEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in storage areas.
\nAssist in the disposal of obsolete or damaged tools and materials.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirement<\/p>\n
Proven experience as a storekeeper or inventory clerk, preferably in automotive.
\nFamiliarity with automotive tools, equipment, and consumables.
\nStrong organizational and record-keeping skills.
\nProficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.
\nAttention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
\nPhysical ability to lift and move heavy tools and supplies.
\nKnowledge of safety regulations related to storage and handling.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
College diploma or higher level education in the relevant field and technical certification is preferred<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
4 years relevant experience out of which 2 years of experience as Tools and Consumables Storekeeper in vehicle maintenance workshop
