\nMain Purposes of Job:<\/p>\n
Responsible for overall planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning of Farm Radio International project activities.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Provide technical and professional support to FRI project activities to ensure quality and appropriateness of project approaches as well as ensure its sustainability.
\nPrepare project implementation plans, budgets and carry out proper implementation of project pertinent to the responsibility.
\nPrepare periodical and annual project reports.
\nProvide support in project formative research and baseline evaluation.
\nMaintain and establish good work relationships and partnership with project partners;
\nIn close consultation with the Radio Craft Team, listen weekly radio episodes and provide feedback on Uliza platform.
\nUndertake regular monitoring and periodical evaluation of project activities and compile findings while overseeing application of the MERL policy, as well as cross-sectoral and cross-department learning.
\nEstablish, monitor, evaluate and strengthen Community Listener Group in FRI project areas
\nWrite case studies\/success stories\/audio post and document the entire lesson learned using various communication Medias.
\nOrganize, conduct, and facilitate different training and workshops to strengthen capacity of the radio stations, community members and other knowledge partners.
\nPrepare training materials, proceedings, posters, etc as deemed necessary.
\nTake part in the development of project proposals and concept note development.
\nSupervise volunteers in their activities of project implementation.
\nParticipate and contribute in one of the FRI\u2019s Strategic Intentions.
\nAssist Program Manager\/Coordinator in a range of tasks aimed at strengthening the FRI project development and implementation.
\nPerform any other project related duties assigned by Program Manager<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:
\nEducation and experience<\/p>\n
Bachler Degree in Communication for Development, Agriculture, Social Science, or others related field.
\nMinimum 5 years work experience as a project officer position with progressive responsibilities in non-governmental organization (NGO), preferably international NGO.
\nSubstantial experience in the development of successful proposals, project design, project implementation, reports, and monitoring and evaluation.
\nExperience and abilities in capacity development \u2013 developing module and facilitating trainings as well as team building.
\nExperience using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, social media,), Web Conferencing Applications, information and budget management systems, and knowledge sharing networks.
\nExcellent English writing skills.<\/p>\n
