Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
In conjunction and coordination with the concerned parties in the supply chain department, assure getting the right kind of PI\u2019s from foreign suppliers and submit to banks for possible forex allocation;
\nSchedule, Control & Monitor domestically sourced category purchases ensuring lowest TCO while managing desired quality, inbound freight optimization while selecting, developing and promoting local suppliers, developing enduring relationships ensuring JIT management controls.
\nParticipate and contribute, to product development activities including TCO of formulation, packaging and efficacy to the new product development committee.
\nSupports the product development & technology initiatives for the category.
\nManage Procurement cost.
\nMaintain minimum procurement operation.
\nAssure maximum inventor turnover.
\nDevise innovative and accepted ways to ensure minimum time that floated bids stay in the procurement cycle.
\nSet a standard and follow-up efficiency towards minimum response time to demand request.
\nSchedule, Control & Monitor Import Category purchases ensuring lowest TCO while managing desired quality, inbound freight optimization and timing, ensuring minimum inventory levels and cash flow management with due regard to economic pressures & FX availability.
\nEnsure all activities related to the function comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
\nParticipate in the company\u2019s management team meetings, strategy, Health & Safety program, insurance\/benefits committees and others as required.
\nMeet targets articulated in supply chain plans, product development briefs in terms of product quality, timeliness and cost.
\nResolve quires which can come from 3rd party stack holders.
\nBe responsible and accountable for sourcing and supplying specific Category.
\nClosely interact and support Technical & Sales and Marketing management teams.
\nRepresent the company as the \u2018Procurement Office Representative\u2019 of Repi Wilmar on Category Suppliers\/Vendors.
\nManage Planning, sourcing and appointing of all inputs to the company which Repi acquires for its manufacturing and other needs;
\nMake sure that PO is issued or contractual service agreement is made with selected suppliers;
\nAssure on time settlement of Documents with Finance;
\nTrack weekly the stock\/inventory status of the Category items based on inventory policy and trigger reorder decisions.
\nIn congestion with Logistic division, plan delivery of products on JIT.
\nOver look in close team work approach with Quality Control incoming materials by such methods as physical counts, random weight checks, request advising or rejection of any spoiled commodity, reconditioning of underweight bags, etc.
\nImplement systemic contract management control points by Compiling and submit correct and reconciled delivery documents, invoices for payment process.

MA\/BA in BA Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Management, Accounting or any other related field of study
\nMinimum 7 years\u2019 which one (1) years as Senior Procurement Officer\/Procurement\/Category Specialist or equivalent capacity preferably in FMCG industry.
\nSAP knowledge
