\nThe Social Transformation Cluster (STC) of the bilateral and regional GIZ portfolio in Ethiopia comprises of BMZ- and EU-funded commissions working on priority topics such as governance, migration, peace and security, and gender<\/p>\n
Serve as the primary contact for portfolio and commission-related information for commission\/implementation managers (AVs\/DVs) and Country Office Portfolio Management.
\nAdvise the STC Management Team in building a consistent external representation
\nSupport STC managers in complying with commission management obligations, reporting requirements, and compliance standards.
\nProvide advisory and facilitation support in negotiations with political partners, if required
\nLead STC-internal organizational development efforts and contribute to the implementation of STC\u2019s strategic agenda in collaboration with the Management Team.
\nRepresent the Cluster Coordinator in internal GIZ processes and forums, as requested.
\nEnsure the integration of cross-cutting and cross-sectoral issues in the cluster portfolio and oversee knowledge management within the cluster.
\nAddress strategic and organizational issues across projects, ensuring content coherence and quality assurance throughout the cluster.<\/p>\n
In future, Band 5 development as Head of the Technical Cluster Management Unit will be conceivable, including expanded leadership and managerial responsibilities, provided that further development of the cluster structure and company policies allows<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree in development relevant field or administration \/ management
\nMinimum five years working experience with GIZ Ethiopia
\nMinimum five years on GIZ-internal management processes (as advisor, specialist, or similar)
\nVery good German language skills
\nBusiness proficiency English language skills
\nProfound knowledge and experience in IT-based solutions
