\nAbout the Company and Job Summary
\nOmotic General Trading PLC is a diversified private company operating in hospitality, agriculture, logistics, and beverage storage across Southern Ethiopia. The company manages multiple properties including farms, storage facilities, branch offices, and staff accommodations. To strengthen property management and operational efficiency in the Southern region, the company seeks to recruit a competent and experienced Property Administrator based in Arba Minch.
\nThe Property Administrator will be responsible for the effective administration, maintenance, utilization, and compliance of all Omotic General Trading PLC properties in Southern Ethiopia. These include the Arba Minch branch office, farms, beer storage facilities, and other company-owned or leased properties in the region.
\nThe position requires close coordination with the Head Office to ensure properties are managed in line with company policies, budgets, and operational standards.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities
\nProperty Administration & Operations<\/p>\n
Administer and oversee daily operations of company properties in Southern Ethiopia, including offices, farms, storage facilities, and residential units.
\nEnsure proper use, safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all properties.
\nMaintain updated records of all properties, assets, leases, utilities, and occupancy status.
\nCoordinate property-related logistics to support farm operations and beer storage activities.<\/p>\n
Maintenance & Asset Management<\/p>\n
Plan, coordinate, and monitor routine and preventive maintenance of buildings, utilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
\nLiaise with contractors, service providers, and local authorities for repairs, renovations, and compliance matters.
\nConduct regular site inspections and prepare condition and maintenance reports.
\nEnsure assets are properly tagged, recorded, and safeguarded against loss or damage.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Risk Management<\/p>\n
Ensure all properties comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
\nMonitor fire safety, security arrangements, and occupational health requirements.
\nReport risks, incidents, or damages promptly to Head Office and recommend corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Financial & Administrative Coordination<\/p>\n
Support budget preparation for property-related expenses and monitor expenditures.
\nVerify and manage utility bills, rent payments, service contracts, and minor procurements within approved limits.
\nPrepare regular property administration and maintenance reports for Head Office.
\nMaintain and report simple KPIs (maintenance turnaround time, utilities uptime, inspection\/compliance checklist completion).<\/p>\n
Coordination & Communication<\/p>\n
Act as the focal person between the Arba Minch branch and Head Office on all property-related matters.
\nWork closely with operations, finance, HR, and logistics teams to support business continuity.
\nCoordinate with local government offices, community representatives, and service providers as required.<\/p>\n
About You<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications and Experience
\nEducation<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Diploma in Property Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, Management, or a related field.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3\u20135 years relevant experience in property administration, facilities management, or general administration.
\nExperience managing multiple sites (farms, warehouses, offices, or hospitality facilities) is a strong advantage.
\nPrior experience working with head-office\u2013branch coordination is highly desirable.<\/p>\n

Language Requirements<\/p>\n
Fluency in English and Amharic is required
